I have family that don’t have mobile devices - can they use BackThen?

Absolutely!

When you invite your family to your BackThen timeline, they can follow their invite mail on any computer or web browser and sign up on the web.

You can log into the website here to see your timeline, as can your family. The web experience is not designed for managing your timelines, so those options remain the app only, but your family can see all your new moments, like and comment on them as normal, even if they don't have mobile devices.
