Why are the weeks on my pregnancy photos wrong?

By default, BackThen assumes that your gestation period (the length of your pregnancy) is 40 weeks. That means that once a child is born and we have the date of birth, if something is added (for example, a scan photo or a story about the preparation) from a week before, it will be labelled as 39 weeks into pregnancy.

Of course, pregnancies are unpredictable and most babies don't arrive on their originally scheduled date, so if, for example, you give birth after 38 weeks, then a photo from the week before should be labelled as 37 weeks into pregnancy.

Fortunately, you can fix this very easily, by telling BackThen the length of your pregnancy for your child.

First, head to the Manage Children section of the menu:

You will then see the list of timelines you manage. Tap on the one you want to change.

You will then be taken to a screen where you can change their name, date of birth or gestation period.

If you tap on the Gestation Period option, you'll be able to set exactly how many weeks and days the pregnancy lasted, and all the pregnancy content will be correctly labelled.
